Gosling's Black Seal is an old recipe that was created in 1858 by three different blend of Caribbean rum, aged between three and six years, which are then processed and blended in Bermuda. Is one of the few Dark Rum still on the market, owned by the Gosling family after more than two hundred years.
Tasting notes
Goslings Black Seal rum is flavourful dark rum which is ideal for mixing, most famously with ginger beer to make Goslings' signature Dark 'n' Stormy cocktail. Aromas of sweet caramel, molasses and dried fruit are followed by the taste of molasses, liquorice, cinnamon and vanilla on the palate, with clear herbal notes. The finish is warm, lingering and spicy

2 oz. Goslings Black Seal Rum
Lime wedge
Method
Into a tall glass filled with ice, pour the ginger beer and float the rum on top.
Stir (until it looks like a storm cloud).

Product history
1857 The firm, known as Gosling and Son, was renamed Gosling Brothers. Three years later the first oak barrels of rum distillate arrived in Bermuda. After much experimentation in the blending process, the distinctive black rum destined to be Black Seal was formulated and offered for sale.
