Named in commemoration of the year in which the first expertly crafted tequila was unveiled, 1800 tequila still follows the standards of the original formula, created in the year 1975. Using 100% weber blue agave, picked at their peak - up to eight yearsold - Anejo is aged in French Oak barrels for a minimum of 14 months. It's finish is described as spicy and well rounded with flavours of toasted oak, vanilla and butterscotch.

Nose : Toasted oak, vanilla, cinnamon and cloves with layers of butterscotch and chocolate. Palate : Rich, toasted oak. An elegant marriage of agave and spices. Finish : Spicy, long finish and well rounded.

Product history
1800 is widely known as the year in which tequila was first successfully aged in wood. Originally known as Cuervo 1800 Tequila, 1800 Tequila was launched in 1975 as a premium sipping tequila. The Silver, Añejo and Reposado labels were introduced in 200Since 2008, it has been distributed in the US by Proximo Spirits.
