WHISKY BENRIACH QUARTER CASK CLASSIC 6X1L 46°

Cod. WHI0567
Our Distillery founder, John Duff, pursued whisky adventures at home and abroad, before building BenRiach Distillery in 1898, in the north of Speyside. It is in his adventurous spirit that we boldly approach the art of distillation and cask maturation, pushing the boundaries of malt alchemy like no other. As an unconventional Speyside whisky distiller, we distill three malt whisky styles - unpeated, peated and triple distilled. Over our 120 year history this has allowed us to build a reputation for eclectic cask maturation, with an uninterrupted inventory dating back to 1966. Taking the sweet barley and fruit-laden BenRiach spirit, we've matured it in a combination of first and second fill bourbon casks. It is further enriched with contrasting spicy oaknotes, through an extended maturation in quarter casks. Smaller casks allow for more interaction between the wood and spirit, intensifying maturation and lending the whisky a rich depth of flavour and aroma.
